"Antalya Diplomacy Forum" which was organized for the first time with the participation of leaders, politicians, prominent academics, thinkers, opinion leaders, diplomats, business people and young people was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Nest Congress Center between 18-20 June 2021 in Antalya.
“Innovative Diplomacy: New Era, New Approaches” themed forum started with the opening speeches of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. The first day of the forum which is continuing with leaders' sessions on “Global Governance: New Approaches for Global Solutions” and “How Can We Strengthen Regional Solidarity in the Light of Lessons Learned?” and panels on "New Era in Transatlantic Relations", "Partnerships with Africa and Mutual Gains" and "Information Pollution and Fake News in the Virtual World", ended with an interview between Yavuz Selim Kıran, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Ufuk Ulutaş, the head of Strategic Research Center (SAM) with the youth.
On the second day of the Forum, panels and parallel sessions on “South Caucasus: New Opportunities for Regional Peace and Cooperation”, “Regional Cooperation in Asia”, “Humanitarian Approach to Refugees and Migrants”, “Middle East and North Africa: Towards a Sustainable Agenda”, “Business and Economic Diplomacy”, “Common View of Neighbors: The Future of Europe”, “The Increasing Importance of Parliamentary Diplomacy” and “From theory to practice: Innovative methods for more effective diplomacy” were held. At the end of the day, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Anadolu Efes Coach Ergin Ataman met with the invited young people and answered their questions.
On the last day of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, attended by 1 out of every 5 Ministers of Foreign Affairs in the world, Osmani-Sadriu, President of Kosovo Vsoja met with the youth. The forum, which was the scene of an intense thought marathon for 3 days and where the pulse of international community and diplomacy was kept ended with the press conference of Minister Çavuşoğlu.
